D2CL China: CDEC and Vici Gaming Potential move on to main qualifiers

Vici Gaming Potential and CDEC have qualified for the group stage of the Chinese Qualifier of the Dota 2 Champions League, they beat Terrorblade and Tongfu in their respective finals.

The Chinese Pre Qualifiers for the Dota 2 Champions League features a total of eight teams, from which two teams qualified, Vici Gaming's new team called VG.Potential which features a range of new players (most noticable Lin) from the Chinese scene and CDEC who recently made roster changes, replacing Mikasa and Maybe (to LGD) with Shiki and Xz have moved on to the next level. Vici.P beat Terrorblade (2-0) while CDEC beat the new roster of Tongfu featuring KingJ (2-0). These teams will be playing against some of the top teams in China featuring the likes of Vici Gaming, Invictus Gaming and LGD Gaming .

The next stage will have the eight Chinese teams in one group, where they will play best-of-two matches in a round-robin format. The top four teams of the group will advance to the regional playoffs, and fight for the single Chinese spot in the tournament's LAN finals. The first match of the groupstage will take place on March 18th at 9am CET between Vici Gaming and Hyper Glory Team, a match-up that HGT won 2-1 earlier today in StarLadder XII.
