Through a convincing 2-0 victory against Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Empire managed to secure the precious ticket to Major Allstars LAN finals in March. The list of the eight competitors for the $100,000 will be completed with the announcement of the Chinese representative.
The online phase of Major Allstars tournament is now over, after today's entertaining conclusion of the European qualifiers. Empire and Ninjas in Pyjamas were the two teams to survive the demanding double-elimination bracket, but Empire was the strongest of the two in the best-of-three finals. With their victory, they have earned the second European spot in the offline finals of the tournament, and they accompany Natus Vincere for the trip to Malaysia on March 20th.
The list of the LAN participants is almost complete, as seven out of eight squads are guaranteed a spot. The remaining participant will be Chinese, and they will receive a direct invitation to the event. It should be reminded that Can't Say Wips and Team Redemption won the SEA qualifiers, while eHug are the American winners.
