Five months after the return of compLexity.DotA, the American squad has lost yet another member of their original roster - David 'MoonMeander' Tan. The Canadian player will still be sponsored by compLexity, but only as a full-time streamer. Tryouts are being held to fill the two remaining spots in coL.DotA2.
More and more American teams are undergoing changes early in 2015, as compLexity announced yet another departure from the original roster they signed back in August. The popular Canadian streamer David 'MoonMeander' Tan who served as the team's offlane for the past months decided to go inactive from competitive DotA2 for his own personal reasons, leaving the team with three players. Tryouts are currently being held to fill the two empty slots, in an attempt to complete the roster in time for The International 5.
MoonMeander's statement :
Hey guys, first of all I want to say there was no drama regarding this change to the team. After hours of conversing with the team, I realized that I wasn't the right fit, both mentally and mechanically. I also need some time to rediscover what I truly want to do in life, thus I've decided to take my leave from the compLexity Dota team. I wish my former teammates the very best in Dota 2, and I know they'll make it to TI5!
While MoonMeander is no longer a member of coL.Dota2, he will keep streaming under the sponsorship of the club. As for compLexity, they will continue their tournament runs with stand-in players, like they did today in their match against Vega. It should be reminded that Niklas 'Wagamama' Högström also joined coL for StarLadder 11, but the team continued without him after the team's disqualification from the tournament.
Current coL.Dota2 roster :
Linus 'Limmp' Blomdin
Kyle 'swindlemelonzz' Freedman
Zakari 'ZfreeK' Freedman
