DAC Asia Day 2: CDEC climbs to top for now

CDEC continued their good form into the second day of the Asian qualifiers for the Dota 2 Asia Championships as they handed EHOME their first loss of the qualifiers and pushed them into second place, while Can't Say Wips remain last after another loss.

The battle between EHOME and CDEC-Gaming continued into the second day of the qualifiers and ended with the two teams competing against each other. It was CDEC who came out victorious with a two game wipe against the former LV Gaming lineup to give the team their first loss under their new organization and push EHOME into second place for now. EHOME however has played four matchess less, meaning that they have enough opportunities to catch up. Completing the top four are Immortal Magneto Gaming and Tongfu Wanzhou who are sitting on eight and seven points.

It was another bad day for Can't Say Wips, who remain at the bottom of the group after only picking up a single point from todays games. HyperGloryTeam finally began their qualifying campaign after being delayed by their misfortune in the i-League final yesterday. They were able to pick up five points, securing two wins but they dropped a point by drawing against Philippines-based Mineski who crawl into sixth place. A total of four teams will qualify directly for the main event, with two more teams being allowed into the Wildcard playoffs. The games continue tomorrow.
