With only two days left to secure one of the six main event playoffs spots, MVP Phoenix will be hoping Alliance and VP slip up to remain in the tournament.
Only eight games are left to claim that all important playoff spot and MVP Phoenix, Virtus Pro and Alliance are all in danger of exiting the tournament early. Expectations will be low for MVP Phoenix after only claiming five points and all their games already completed. Only Virtus Pro, Alliance and Cloud 9 can finish below them but with the latter having six opponents still to play, MVP Phoenix could face an early exit.

The studio matches have been hard fought and incredibly close with twelve draws from a possible twenty, which has left the table with only four points that separate the group. Finnish team 4 Anchors are on top with 7 points with all their games played and will be feeling confident for survival. But towards the bottom of the table, Alliance will need to get some points from their final matches to stay in the tournament. With only four wins, the TI3 champions will need results against Evil Geniuses and Cloud 9 to remain in the tournament.
Evil Geniuses and Cloud 9 arrived at the studio three days after the studio matches began but have gone on to cause an impact. Evil Geniuses, currently in second place, will be looking to continue their good form with six wins from a possible eight. Cloud 9 have a busy two days ahead of them with five teams to play, but have only dropped a single round so far.
Currently third and fourth in the table, Team Tinker and VP Polar are tied on points with MVP Phoenix and Virtus Pro, but both teams have matches remaining. Virtus Pro however will be concerned that their five points might not be enough to remain in the competition and will be hoping a result against Cloud 9 will be enough to keep them safe. If they fail to pick up a point, they will be tied MVP Phoenix and will be ranked below them after their day one loss to the Koreans.
The studio matches end on 23rd November with the top six teams heading into the main event playoffs taking place at Dreamhack Winter in Sweden on the 27th November. For more information click here.
