Valve just released a sneak-peak for the upcoming update "The Foreseer's Contract". While the initial announcement only includes a small comic, it hints the release of the new hero Oracle, Phantom Assassin's Arcana and several changes to the item voting system.
It has been less than two months since the last major update of DotA2, and Valve already announced another big patch. This time, the package includes a new hero, Oracle, the compendium voted Phantom Assassin Arcana, along with significant changes in the cosmetic item voting system.
The original blog post includes a short comic story that features a dialog between Phantom Assassin and Oracle. The comic ends with Phantom Assassin holding a long shiny weapon, probably a preview on the Arcana for the hero. However, this is pretty much all we get for today. It should be noted that the update page includes a "Day 1" indicator, meaning that the update will come in waves of content, one for each day.
As for the workshop page, it seems that it has been redesigned. A new voting queue system has been added so that every new item can get the required visibility to receive credible vote results by the users. Players can also have quicker access to submissions by specific creators they follow, or items liked by their friends.
