The European bracket for The Summit 2 is starting today, the Chinese brackets is starting tomorrow. The brackets will feature the top 4 winners of the round robin from each region. Top tier teams such as Newbee, Vici Gaming, Team Secret and Cloud9 will fight for two spots in Los Angeles.
The European Brackets:
This bracket will kick off with Team Secret vs Power Rangers 16.00 CET on the 5th of November. Power Rangers are considered to be the underdogs in this match-up, with Team Secret being the heavy favorites, following their dominating 9-2 record in the groupstage. All the games played will be BO3 except for the grand finals which will be a BO5.
Judging solely on the results of the groupstages, the teams would play on equal levels, but considering that Power Rangers and Virtus.pro Polar have recently undergone roster changes, Cloud9 is the favorite to contest Team Secret for a spot in Los Angeles. Both VP and PR have proven over time again however that, on a good day, they can take games if not matches from top tier teams.
The Chinese Brackets:

From the round robin results, Newbee are the favourites to qualify, with their dominating performance, going 7 - 0 in the group stages. Following closely behind them is LGD and CDEC with a result of 5 - 2 in the round robins, looking at this, the match between them will probably be very close. Coming in fourth is Vici Gaming, with an uncharacteristically poor performance of 4 - 3 in the group stages, barely getting through, if they play at the level they were playing at in the group stages, Newbee should have no problems dominating them.
