$15,000 NVidia Game24 Invitational set to begin in a few hours

In coordination with NVidia's "24-hour celebration of PC gaming," an all best-of-five invitational is set to begin in a few hours, with four of the west's top teams battling it out for a $15,000 prize pool.

As was previously reported, the $15,000-prizepool NVidia Game24 DotA 2 Invitational is scheduled to begin in a few hours, with four of the west's best teams duking it out in an all best-of-five, single elimination bracket.

This small tournament is but a feature of the 24-hour "PC gaming holiday" by NVidia, dubbed Game24. Events in cities across the world such as London, Shanghai, and Los Angeles are set to kick off in celebration of that hobby we all know and love, PC gaming.

The invitational's schedule

Prize pool distribution ($15,000)

1st - $7,000
2nd - $4,000
3rd/4th - $2,000

Due to time constraints on the teams' parts, however, the first two matches of the series have already been played and recorded prior to the event itself, and will be broadcasted on the Game24 main stream at the scheduled times. This is no cause to be upset, though, as the grand finals will be played live.

The matches, both recorded as well as the grand finals, are set to be casted by Aaron 'Ayesee' Chambers and Mark 'Tralf' Seidl. The games can be viewed via Game24's stream, and the grand finals can be viewed either via the stream or through DotaTV, where it can be viewed for free.
