Excellent Moscow Cup #2 - Fnatic and NVMI on top of European leaderboard

Almost 20 days have passed since the beginning of the European division of Excellent Moscow Cup #2, and almost half the matches of the season have already been played. The first place currently belongs to Fnatic, followed by NVMI and Empire.

We are getting closer and closer to the playoffs of the second season of Excellent Moscow Cup, scheduled to take place from September 26th through 27th at Forum Hall, Moscow. Last week, NewBee managed to secure the first spot for the offline event, after their first place finish in the Chinese qualifiers. Three more teams are expected to emerge from the currently-ongoing European qualifiers.

So far, Fnatic is the leader of the EMC race, with 9 points in seven matches. Their lead is fragile, however, as NVMI managed to earn 8 points in only five matches and can easily steal the first place with a few positive results. Empire, M5, MYM, Power Rangers and compLexity have all collected 6 points in total, but Empire has played the least amount of games compared to the other four, and they currently occupy the third place of the leaderboard. Na'Vi, Denial and HellRaisers have played less than three matches each, and their performance in the next two weeks will have a massive impact on the current standings.
