ESL released more details about the qualifiers for the upcoming ESL One New York. The two qualifier stages will allow one Chinese, four European and three American teams to reach the Madison Square Garden finals, battling for the prizepool of $100,000.
More information has been released about the upcoming ESL One New York, the tournament by Electronic Sports League (ESL) that will take place at Madison Square Garden, New York from October 9th to 10th. The qualifiers will be divided in two separate stages, giving the chance to professional and amateur teams to compete for the $100,000 prizepool.
The first qualifier stage will open for every American and European team. The four strongest teams from Europe and United States (eight in total) will advance to the second stage, where they will meet the invited teams of their region.

The top four teams from the European bracket will advance to play at ESL One New York, along with the top three teams from the North American bracket. The last spot in New York will be covered by a Chinese team, and further details regarding the Chinese qualifiers will be announced in the near future.
