IllidanSTR and ARS-ART part ways with Virtus.Pro

The troubled roster of Virtus.Pro is about to change once again, as both Sergey 'ARS-ART/Smile' Revin and Ilya 'IllidanSTR' Pevcaev are off the team. Their replacements have yet to be announced, as the organization needs more time to find the right players to fill the remaining roles.

It seems that the Russian squad Virtus.Pro will go through radical changes once again, as they have just announced the departure of two members of the team - Sergey 'ARS-ART' Revin and Ilya 'IllidanSTR' Pevcaev. While the changes were hinted since the July, the organization has not made any statements regarding the two players' replacements.

The two Russian players have been playing for the club since late 2013, but their achievements were rather minor in 2014. One of their most notable moments was their second-place finish in the TI4 European Qualifiers, but they were defeated in their first Wildcard match against the South Koreans MVP-Phoenix.

Not much is known about the future of ARS-ART/Smile in competitive DotA2. However, IllidanSTR will participate in the upcoming StarLadder X in a squad named NVMI along with other known players from the CIS region.
