Third season of DotA2 Canada Cup announced, $4000 up for grabs

The third version of DotA2 Canada Cup will take place from August 18th through September 8th. The tournament's groupstage will include 16 of the region's strongest teams, fighting over a total prize pool of $4000.

Yet another installment of DotA2 Canada Cup will be starting this August, featuring some of the most feared opponents of the American region. The tournament is still open for more competition, so more teams are welcome to join. The competition boasts a $4000 total prizepool, which is four times as high as the previous version.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from August 18th through September 8th. Team registrations are currently open, and only 16 teams will be able to battle for the $4000. So far, only four teams are confirmed for the main groupstage.
