
The SLTV organization just announced two new seasons of Star Series, taking place from August through October and November through January respectively. Along with Europe, China and America, the two upcoming seasons will also include teams from Southeast Asia.
It is official : SLTV will return just after the conclusion of The International 4, with its tenth and eleventh seasons! The tournament will include both an online and offline phase, with teams coming from the four major DotA2 regions - Europe, America, China and Southeast Asia.
Season X will take place from August through October 2014, while season XI is scheduled for November 2014 through January 2015. Much like the previous seasons, four teams from Europe, two teams from China and one team from America and SEA will advance to the LAN finals of Cyberarena, Kiev. The online phase is a round-robin groupstage, followed by the double-elimination bracket of the offline playoffs. As for the date of these LAN events, the original announcement states that they are planned for October 23rd through 26th for X, and January 15th through 18th for XI.
Live broadcasting of the games will be provided by BeyondTheSummit in English and SLTV in Russian. The available DotaTV ticket will once again contribute in the tournament prize pool.
