Techlabs Cup is back, and it welcomes CIS competitors once again. Four squads will have to go through a double elimination bracket, battling for the total prize pool of $20,000.
It has been a while since the previous version of Techlabs Cup, a tournament that highlighted some of today's most powerful CIS squads, including the "titan slayer" Power Rangers. The tourney hosts have just announced the launch of a new rendition of Techlabs Cup, with challengers from the CIS region. The four teams will be fighting over the prestigious prize pool of $20,000.
The cup will take place on April 5th. Two participants have already been invited to the main event, and as expected by their recent results, these two teams are Team Empire and RoX.KIS. The remaining two slots will be covered by the squads that make it through the eight team online qualifier.

The above match list may be altered depending on the teams' schedule.
The online qualifiers will consist of best-of-three matches in a double elimination format. Two teams will qualify for the main event.
The offline main event will have the same double elimination format, with the winners bracket matches being best-of-three, and the losers bracket matches best-of-one. The main event will take place on 5th of April, at the special scene set up by the Techlabs organization.
At the time of this post, no information about online broadcasting of the games was available, and it is expected to be announced soon.
