No more mouz dota

After multiple attempts to rebuild the team, the organization and the players of Mousesports Dota 2 squad part ways. It was stated to be because of lack of stability and progress although the manager says it was the players' decision.

The Dota 2 squad of Mousesports had their ups and downs since 2011 where they surfaced in late 2011, picking up the squad EBIN to compete at the predecessor to StarLadder - the Star Championship at Cyberarena, Kiev. They competed at two editions of The International - in 2012 where they win the last-minute qualifying game versus World Elite, replacing MUFC - and in 2013 where they won the Western qualifiers, beating Quantic in the finals. In the aftermath of The International, all players left except syndereN who remained with the organization to rebuild the team with a new Danish roster. The Danish mouz shimmered a few times but overall did not reach the same rate of success as the former line-up. Further roster changes commenced and eventually it became hard to keep track of who actually was playing with the team while it was also rare for the team to play official matches without stand-ins. Today the players and the organization go their separate ways.

As stated in the official announcement, the team was not able to stabilize after the departure of syndereN where the final nail in the coffin was mousesports failing to show up at EMS One in Tychy, Poland. Despite all flights and accommodation being booked, the team cancelled their participation one day prior to the event. However, the team manager NeStlik states that it was the teams decision to leave, regardless of what was announced in the official post at mousesports' website. The players were made a better offer elsewhere and told the organization about it, no hard feelings were involved. Why mousesports themselves did not mention that is unknown.

They were recently invited to the upcoming season of Dota 2 Champions League through and it remains to be seen if the players will end up keeping the spot or if it will pass on to some other team, such as PowerRangers or NEXT.
