First invites to Fragbite Masters 2013 announced

Alliance, Team Dignitas, Speed Gaming, and Flip.Sid3.Quantic are among the first eight teams invited to compete for 200,000 SEK at the Fragbite Masters 2013.

The first eight teams invited to compete in the Fragbite Masters 2013 have been announced, with another 10 teams waiting to be invited. Among the current invites are the fan favorites, Speed Gaming; the relatively new team, Super Strong Dinosaurs; and the International 3 champions, Alliance.

Along with the invited teams, eight more teams have made it through from the qualifiers, with six more slots up for grabs.

The teams will be competing for a 200,000 SEK (~$31,000) prize pool, with a total of 32 teams competing; 18 invited and 14 from the qualifiers. The tournament consists of two group stages and one playoff. 32 teams fight down to 16, and then the best eight teams of the second stage move on to the playoffs.

The group stages kick off on October 21st, and the event will be broadcasted by the GD Studio.
