The GMPGL Qualifiers has reached stage two, and features 12 teams from across the region, competing with each other for four spots in the GMPGL which will be held in the Philippines.
The twelve teams are divided into two groups of six teams each, and will then participate in Round Robin style matches within their respective groups. From there, the top five teams from each group will proceed into the playoffs, with the top two teams from each from being seeded into the upper brackets, and the remaining bottom three teams from each group being seeded into the lower brackets of the playoffs.
The playoffs will then consist of two brackets, the upper bracket and the lower brackets. Teams that have been seeded into the lower brackets will follow a best-of-one elimination format, whereas the teams in the upper brackets will follow a best-of-three format. The top four teams, which will consist of the upper bracket grand finalists and lower bracket grand finalists, will then earn a sponsored trip to the Philippines where they will compete with each other in the GMPGL for a prize pool of $10,000.
