?Mousesports remain in the tournament as they just eliminated the ever so interesting Kaipi. Mouz will play vs iCCup tomorrrow.
The journey for Kaipi is over in Corsair Gaming Summer Tournament. They performed well but in the end it was not enough when paired up versus the German stronghold of mousesports. Both teams played one dominant game each, then it fell apart for Kaipi in the third game when Qoqjva got to single-handely mess up their game with no benefitial trade going their way in return. Mousesports played extraordinary and will go up against iCCup tomorrow at 18.00 CEST. The winner of that match-up proceeds into the lower bracket final vs Fnatic at 21.00 CEST.

Match report - mousesports vs Kaipi

Game 1
The laning phase started out great for mouz with success on the aggressive trilane. A dive on FATA caused both supports to smoke up and rotate mid to defend their mid and find first blood on a left behind Pieliedie. They rotated back down for more kills while completely shutting down Alchemist's farm. However, Kaipi came back after a few skirmishes going their way where mouz played a bit off-sync. Dark Seer moved in to great effect after a very rich laning phase for him.
Mid game went in an even fashion but Kaipi had issues dealing with the huge presence of the Outworld Devourer who provided a great amount of damage and control in fights. Kaipi also suffered from Alchemist's lack of farm which kept them from taking down towers whilst losing some of their own. Mousesports killed off Roshan and went to push bottom lane. Kaipi managed to get a supreme Sleep into Wall + Vacuum but in the end lost the fight due to the item disadvantage and not having an answer for the BKBs of mouz.
Another intiate attempt went down in the Dire jungle where Kaipi killed off syndereN but then had to run for their lives. Unfortunately for them, mouz caught up with them, partially due to Prophet and partially due to Kaipi's greedy play. Aegis was still up at FATA at this time and mouz was clearly in the driver position. They claimed the top barracks and was caught on the way out by a 4-man Alchemist stun. Kaipi were however unable to fully capitalize on it due to mouz's overly farmed cores. Mousesports went back to heal up and then re-applied pressure botlane, Kaipi couldn't do much to stop them and first game went to mousesports.
Game 2
Mousesports ran a line-up designed to counter Kaipi's heroes and found themselves first blood on top, killing off EE's Gyrocopter. However, Arteezy managed to bring down the Spirit Bear (twice!) giving him a huge burst of gold. Kaipi went into farming mode, farming up all their heroes, even the Keeper who focused on stacking and nuking neutrals. With TA and Enigma, Kaipi quickly killed Roshan.
Mouz tried to punish them for it but Kaipi narrowly escaped with the Aegis still in Arteezy's hands. Versus heroes such as Lone Druid, Jugger and Visage, Kaipi quite impressively defended all of their tier one towers until the first one fell at minute 20. They ditched defending since they were taking down Roshan a second time at the time. Kaipi was leading the game at this point but mouz wasn't awfully far behind. A big clash could turn it all around.
BOne7's Clockwerk was a huge force this game, always finding the clutch hooks. On top of that he finished up an Orchid as his first big item at minute 24. At that point, the game was Kaipi's to lose, they found lots of single pick-offs utilizing the skills of Arteezy and bOne7. Kaipi secured a 4-0 clash set up by a hook, cog and Black Hole. The game stalled out a bit more but eventually Kaipi pushed bottom and rolled over mouz once again to even out the game score, 1-1.
Game 3
Kaipi went for a similiar greedy strategy, reliant on stacking and killing neutrals for Doom and the Keeper. But this time, mouz threw in a Bounty Hunter in the mix, a hero mastered in punishing greedy farming. And it paid off in a huge manner, Qojqva sniped down the jungling Doom to get first blood followed by him killing the Radiant's courier. Meanwhile, the rest of mouz pushed the two towers top lane. Moments later, just as Keeper and Doom (using the Tornado) were about to kill off a stacked camp, Qoqjva struck again. He tracked and killed the Keeper while also stealing the last hits on three of the big creeps of the camp. Kaipi tired to keep the game up though despite the tower disadvantages and the high level Bounty.
They managed to bring Bounty down eventually, using Doom to prevent him from stealthing but mouz got Roshan meanwhile. The core of Kaipi desperately tried to farm up their key items but the overall overfarmed mouz kept preventing them from doing so, ganking them everywhere, even just outside the base. Some miss-management caused Kaipi to snipe down mouz' courier, which flew around with a full Vlad. EternalEnvy got killed being greedy on top lane right after and Kaipi accepted elimination when mouz went for the push. 2-1 mousesports.
