Match report
Game 1

Knowing that he was going to go up against a trilane, Bounty Hunter redirected the creep wave to mid lane and hit level two after killing four creeps. He immediately went invisible and moved towards the unsuspecting Dragon Knight and together with his Jinada and Queen of Pain to help him, Empire picked up the First Blood by killing the Dragon Knight. Bounty Hunter then roamed around the Dire jungle looking to steal Prophet's creeps but he was unsuccessful in doing so. Due to Bounty Hunter's absence on the top lane, iCCup took down the tier-one on the top lane very early in the game.
From there onwards, it was just mistake after mistake by Bounty Hunter and Queen of Pain and that allowed iCCup to fight their way back into the game. Soon enough, iCCup grouped up and pushed the towers and although they were met with strong resistance, they were able to win the fight. Empire responded to that by picking off the Dragon Knight once again and immediately scrambled to push the bottom tier-one. iCCup was able to stale right enough for Dragon Knight to respawn and kill Visage as the rest of Empire retreated. As a result, iCCup gained themselves two free towers.
Both teams went into farming mode for the next 10 minutes. At 23 minutes, iCCup gathered on the middle lane and for the first time in the match-up, threatened to go up Empire's high ground but Empire was able to defend their base, sacrificing the Bane and Visage for iCCup's Weaver, Sand King and Prophet. Desperate to push the high ground before Alchemist gets any bigger, iCCup sneaked into the Roshan pit with the Weaver as distraction on the top lane and secured the Aegis before Empire arrived. Both teams duked it out on the mid lane right after but both teams disarmed with most of their members dead.
The game was quite the stalemate until iCCup was able to catch the unprepared members of Empire in the Radiant jungle. Empire's reinforcement did arrive in time but it was too late. iCCup had a 40 seconds window to make something happen with four of Empire dead and they successfully took down the bottom and top barracks. The mid barracks fell shortly after. Empire was able to defend for quite an amazing length against the mega creep but it was of no use. A random creep ended up last hitting the throne and the gg was called.

Game 2

The trilane versus trilane situation in game two basically boiled down to the battle of deward. The battle was so intense that Treant Protector actually gave away First Blood trying to hit a Sentry Ward. Empire was the first to make a move running past the tier-one tower on the top lane alongside their huge creep wave but it quickly turned sour as iCCup supports arrived. Weaver was able to kill the Alchemist and the Bane while double damage Storm Spirit killed Anti-Mage.
Relentless in their pursuit to win the trilane, Empire made a second move at iCCup three minutes later and despite getting the first few kills, the arrival of Storm Spirit and the Weaver was once again the bane for Empire. Storm Spirit scored an Ultra Kill in that skirmish. iCCup spent the next ten minutes walking up and down the river taking down towers. Empire attempted to defend their outer towers but ended up giving away more and more kills each time. iCCup had a 10,000 gold lead by 20 minutes.
In a gank attempt gone wrong for Empire, they paid their kill on Storm Spirit for the life of the Puck and Alchemist which was enough for iCCup to take the battle to the Rosh pit. They secured the Aegis and gave it to Weaver. iCCup went for the gg push and was successful in taking down the tier-three tower. Empire was able to defend their barracks for a short while with Anti-Mage buying back but it was to no avail. iCCup's second push was much too overwhelming for Empire.
iCCup secured the Roshan, took down the bottom barracks without much of a contest, and the game after they regrouped.
