Half of the ESL Major Series One summer season playoffs matches are done with the expected teams moving onwards, namely mouz, EG, Fnatic and iNfernity,

Quarter finals were played in a rather safe and predictable fashion, no upsets whatsoever. All the matches ended 2-0 with the EG vs F.3 being the only set getting close to a third game, where F.3 pushed the game to the limits. In the end, they lost the grip of the game as pushing the base of EG proved to be trickier than expected, and the tides turned. The other games of the first day were more or less one-sided with tomorrow holding the interesting games. The EMS journey is unfortunately over for Imaginary Gaming, dargon eblaydes, Flip.sid3 and rat in the dark. The teams most people had expected to survive round one did indeed survive it and will be playing each other tomorrow where one team will eventually take the championship title.
First off, mousesports takes on the Serbians in Infernity at 13.00 CEST followed by Evil Geniuses going up against Fnatic. The winners of the semi finals will move on to the grand finals, which will be played at 18.00 CEST.
