[Match 1] MiTH-Trust vs Mineski

Game one

The game starts out with both teams sending their trilanes bot. Sand King rotatoes bot after a while and helps Dark Seer getting the first blood on the solo Gyro. However, they lose Morph on top while doing so. There's a few minor kills going down, Mineski are winning all lanes in terms of farm with Morphling especially falling behind. After a big crazy 5vs5 clash top lane, Mineski pulls even further ahead and takes down all the tier 1 towers. Wisp + CK teleports into the botlane where they expect Gyro to be fighting a solo Morph. However, they are wrong as Mith were already moving the rest of the team there. It backfires and Mineski loses three heroes and kills none.

Mineski picks off Dragon Knight shortly after and proceeds to take down Roshan. After a while they try to pressure the mid lane but Mith successfully fends them off with a decent Epicenter from R5. Mith are regaining some of the lost XP but Mineski are still ahead by 10,000 on the gold graph. Mineski stops pushing franticly after that and falls back on single pick-offs such as on Morph in the Rosh pit and later on Dragon Knight. This puts them further ahead in the graphs again. They use the Aegis on CK to take down the mid barracks. Mith tries a bleak attempt to defend but can't fully commit to it and mostly lets the barracks go. They manage to prevent Mineski from taking down the top barracks aswell though, using the Wall and the Epicenter. Mineski throws down another attempt, kills of Sand King and Morph but Morph buys back and instantly nukes down Gyrocopter. And then DK and Dark Seer helps out disrupt the rest of the push attempt. After that, Mineski goes for another Rosh kill instead and picks up Aegis on Gyrocopter and Cheese on the Chaos Knight.

Mineski realize it's still hard to push as they are smashing on the tier3 tower bot. In the middle of the fight, Wisp + TA relocates toplane and takes out the top barracks while Mith are busy fighting off the other heroes bot lane. After that Mith decideds its time to apply pressure and moves forwards in the midlane, Morph and Rubick goes down but buys back and rejoins the fight. They take down a few heroes with good crowd and fight control but eventually have to retreat without taking down any buildings. They re-apply straight afterwards though and this time manages to breach through, takes down the middle barracks and then goes straight for the throne. Morphling proves to be a force in this game.

Game two

The teams used a similar tactic as soon as the game started, and they both used Smoke of Deceit as five to catch an enemy off-guard. However, moved to the complete opposite sites of the map, so no clash was produced. Eventually, the trilanes started fighting for the top lane, with Rubick taking down Sand King for the first kill of the game, but Alchemist dropped in return. The first blood was drawn 2.30 minutes in, with Visage dropping as well for MiTH.

Despite dropping two heroes relatively early, MiTH.Trust took the control of the early game back, with a 3-man assault against Mineski's trilane, that helped them get two kills on Owa's Rubick and Jvn's Gyro. Yani's Alchemist was also killed two more times, reaching three deaths. The score was 7-2 in favor of the Thai, when the game hit the 15 minute mark.

Losing their last tier-one tower two minutes later, Mineski realized that the game is slipping away from their hands, so they attempted to isolate MiTH's carries and grab some important kills. With two kills on Antimage and Dragon Knight, they managed to get back their momentum. MiTH answered with a teamfight over Roshan's pit, that ended 3-2 in favor of the Pinnoys. The result of the teamfight would've been a lot worse for MiTH if it wasn't for the impressive three-man Burrowstrike from r5r5.

It was time for Lakelz to shine. With his impressive 10 creeps per minute and his high GPM, he was a forced the reckoned with in the next fights. MiTH managed to push Mineski back from their bottom tier-one with a 2-1 exchange, and then emerged to win a 4-0 fight next to the middle tier-three, with Mineski's team evaporating to the damage coming by the Antimage.

A 25 minute Roshan was all MiTH needed to take down Mineski once and for all. The Thailand team broke into the Dire base, and with an impressive teamwipe, they forced out the GG.

[Match 2] MiTH-Trust vs Rising Stars

Game one

Rising Stars used a mana-burn trilane strategy that really made it hard for MiTH.Trust to stay in place for a long time. The pressure applied game a lot of confidence to the Chinese, and they even looked for a kill on Tnk's Sven. Nevertheless, their overextension cost them the first blood, as Super's Silencer died to sD's Visage, giving the extra gold to the Thai three minutes in.

The top lane did not go as well for Rattlesnake. LaKelz completely dominated Mofi, and picked up an Orchid Malevolence with notable ease. This allowed him to hit really hard, getting three towers for his team by minute 17 while having a score of 3-0. Then he decided to take things a step further, as he picked up a Blink Dagger, a strange item for Bone Fletcher.

Rising Stars' passive gameplay did not help them at all. With MiTH.Trust abusing their line-up to get early pick-offs, the kill counter for the Thai kept increasing with time. For about 15 minutes, the only successful assault was on LaKelz, taking out his Aegis of the Immortal. However, his Blink dagger helped him escape right after he respawned, even avoiding a Reverse Polarity in the process.

As LaKelz was applying the finishing touches to his inventory, the Chinese seemed to have lost all hope. Being stuck inside their base with no tier-two towers, and no Battle Fury on xiaotuji's Antimage, MiTH.Trust just went on a killing rampage. They decided to end the game with 30 minutes into the game, and not even a Reverse Polarity+Global Silence combo was enough to stop them from taking the bottom barracks. Rising Stars called the GG a few seconds later.

Game two

MiTH.Trust used Dragon Knight for the fourth time today. The Thai team really likes the combination of utility, fortitude and damage this hero provides. However, Dragon Knight was also the first victim of Rising Stars, as they contributed three heroes in order to take him down. Rising Stars also managed to get two more kills on MiTH's supports a minute later, making the score 3-0.

The aggression kept coming from the Chinese, as they utilized their offensive early game line-up to grab more and more kills. The score was 10-0 by minute 13, when the first big fight took place. MiTH.Trust was surprisingly strong in this long fight near the bottom tier-two, abusing the overextension by Rising Stars to win a 3-1 engagement, saving their tower as well. Their joy was abruptly broken three minutes later, when LaKelz's Antimage and r5r5's Nyx succumbed to the Chinese gank.

With Rising Stars having the complete map control, MiTH's only hope was LaKelz's Antimage, who was slowly building his inventory. Nonetheless, the Air and Super made it very difficult for him to farm with the Night Stalker-Wisp combination. Combined with Dark Seer and Magnus, the line-up's teamfight potential looked very high as well, rendering the decision of not banning either of these heroes questionable.

The Thai were not going to give up just yet. With LaKelz's last hit counter going up with lighting speed, MiTH were turning a base imprisonment into a turtle strategy, to give enough breathing space to their carry. They even managed to win a teamfight by minute 31, killing Magnus and Night Stalker with an impressive shackle followed by a three-man impale. However, they lost their three supports a few seconds later to an impressive Wisp bait and Reverse Polarity.

MiTH.Trust were trying to pull-off one of the most impressive comebacks of the Eastern Qualifiers. With the clock ticking in favor of MiTH and LaKelz farming like a madman, the situation got stranger with a 3-0 fight won by the Thai right outside Rising Star's base, giving the Antimage enough money for a Heart of Tarrasque. At this point, the outcome of the fights really depended on the Chinese teamfight execution and whether they could land a proper Reverse Polarity-Wall of Replica combo.

The Chinese were aware of the Antimage threat. They also knew that the four heroes behind him were really weak in terms of gold and experience, and that's what they based their strategy on. Keeping the Antimage locked down, they managed to win a 3-0 fight, and force a buyback from LaKelz, delaying his Butterfly, taking down bottom and middle barracks as well. This temporary victory gave them back their confidence and a big chunk of gold. Their advantage got too big for MiTH.Trust to handle.

The next fight was the swansong of game for Thai. Rising Stars marched in their base, and a Triple Kill by xiatuji's Juggernaut sealed the deal, and forced the GG out of MiTH.Trust, as the last set of barracks was falling.

Game three

With Alchemist on Rising Stars side, MiTH trust needed a lot of early game dominance in order to win the game with their line-up. That is what they opted for, with Templar Assassin, Gyrocopter and support Juggernaut selections. This strategy gave them the first blood on Mofi's Druid before the first five minutes.

The Chinese were being hunter all around the map, with LaKelz's Gyrocopter getting most of the kills, having 3-0 and a very early Shadow Blade. However, MiTH were unable to take down the Alchemist, who was having a farming feast inside the Radiant jungle with his Battle Fury. A Smoke of Deceit and a three-man gank was not enough to take him down, since he managed to teleport out successfully with 20 health points, even after suffering an Omnislash + Calldown combo.

MiTH.Trust looked to increase their pressure and move further in Rising Stars lanes. They tried to kill a 16-minute Roshan, but got caught in action by the Radiant. LaKelz was able to grab the Aegis of the Immortal and escape in one piece with his Shadow Blade, but r5r5 and sD were not so lucky. Fortunately for the Thai, they were able to isolate Alchemist for the first time in the game shortly after, interrupting the farming delirium.

Xiatuji's net worth was getting sky high, slowly turning MiTH's lineup against them. He showcased his gear 30 minutes into the game, killing Juggernaut and Gyrocopter, who had to buyback to drive Rising Stars away. Bad positioning by the Chinese and momentary hesitation by xiaotuji cost them the next fight, offering an uncontested Roshan to MiTH.Trust.

Looking to abuse their temporary advantage, MiTH.Trust went for the middle barracks, forcing a hard fight. Gyrocopter's bad position costed him the Aegis, and two of his allies as he was respawning. The decision by the Thai to keep fighting instead of running away was the demise of Dark Seer as well, giving a 3-0 fight to Rising Stars, and a bonus to Alchemist's bank account as well.

With a complete inventory and a large amount of cash to spare, Rising Stars decided to attempt an assault to the middle barracks. Xiaotuji took down the tier-three and melee barracks, but got brought down, causing an important buyback to be spent. This buyback proved to be crucial, as he died again immediately, thanks to an amazing Wall of Replica by TnK. MiTH rushed to get as many buildings as they could, eventually destroying the middle and top Melee barracks.

With the game getting more intense, both teams arrived in the Radiant forest, to fight once again. A massive stun by Alchemist and a Scream of Pain by Air were not enough to take down the whole MiTH squad, who tactically retreated. Taking their time, the Thai turned around and managed to slay everyone in Rising Stars team except the Alchemist. This last man standing proved to be the most important one, as the two buybacks by the Chinese were enough not only to defend, but to take the Gyrocopter down as well.

It was time for Rising Stars to push, with LaKelz dead and everyone from their squad alive, they rushed to get inside the Dire base and win the game. The fight was long and persistent, but Gyrocopter's damage was not enough to stop the rampant Alchemist. Rising Stars did not make another mistake - a full teamwipe and a set of barracks later, MiTH called the GG.

You can blame greek alcoholic beverages for the misleading titles.
