- North America

Team Selection
24 teams will be participating in each season. The top 8 from a prior season get invited to the next one. Naturally, there is no prior season at hand, so 8 teams will be chosen based on applications. The remaining 16 teams will be coming from the A-Series which is an ongoing league running alongside EMS One, which is running right now. Future seasons will have 12 teams from the A-Series and 4 teams from ESL Pro Series.

How to take part?
Check out this page for further info about applying for an invitation aswell as signing the A-Series.

Format
The 24 teams will play four single elimination online cups (the invited 8 will start in Round 2 whereas others will start in Round 1). Similiar to the Farm4Fame system of DotA, teams will gather ranking points by playing through the bracket cups. Winning a cup will also result in $600. The 12 teams with the highest ranking points move on to the groupstage (4 groups, 4 teams in each) where round robin is played. To make it the complete 16, they are joined by 4 teams from the North American A-series. Top 2 of each group (a total of 8 teams) will be qualified for the offline playoffs played through a best-of-three single elimination bracket. The first season will be starting February 12 and the offline playoffs to take place April 20 to 21th.
