Even if the EU managers consist mostly of the titledefender's roster, it is The GD Studio's team that is favored among the viewers. With their new addition in Draskyl and PaisY, who shed first blood after winning the first installement, the team is looking strong and will face fnatic.
Another fan favorite is BeyondTheSummit with their star players PyrionFlax and CyborgMatt being feared in the competition. They will meet jD #2 in the first round. Both The GD Studio as well as BTS will, provided they win every game, not meet until the upper bracket's final.
In terms of equal match-ups, GGnet vs Russian Casters stand out, as both are eager to take home victory. Na'Vi's manager Ash will join the Russian casters as a fifth player.
Confirmation is still missing from Team Liquid, seeing as they have not submitted a roster yet.
