Teams from all over the Americas, well mostly North America, aswell as the slight outsider from a land down under, all of them stormed swords together in the group stage. The stage itself did not consist of the usual round robin format, but instead local double elimination where top 2 of each group qualified. 16 teams are now 8, and are about to get narrowed down even further.

All playoff games are best of three, except the final which is best of five. Stay tuned in early August for the first batch of playoff games. Prime time for Americans and... less ideal time for Europeans. But it's Summer time. And there are VODs.
