The crowdfunding campaign still has 16 days to run.
Gamers are clearly craving for a modern Cyberpunk tabletop game, and the numbers speak for themselves.
Launched on 17 March, the Cyberpunk TCG Kickstarter campaign reached its initial goal of US$100,000 in just five minutes. A week ago, it recorded US$13 million, and now, as of 2 April, the game has become the highest-funded tabletop game ever on the platform, raising over US$15.5 million–a record across all crowdfunding platforms. With more than two weeks still to go, that figure is expected to climb even higher.
Following the milestone, developers thanked supporters by announcing an exclusive reward for all pledge tier backers, promising a free foil Nova Rare V: Streetkid card.

Developers: WeirdCo, CD Projekt RED
What was the previous Kickstarter crowdfunding record?
Cyberpunk TCG has overtaken the previous record holder, the fantasy RPG Cosmere, which raised slightly over US$15 million in August 2024. Cosmere adapts the epic fantasy universe created by American author Brandon Sanderson, using a tabletop role-playing style similar to Dungeons & Dragons.
Cyberpunk TCG appears to follow a similar trajectory, bringing a well-established tabletop RPG concept to a modern audience, thus generating comparable hype from crowdfunding platforms.
What is Cyberpunk TCG about?
Cyberpunk TCG is an upcoming physical tabletop collectible card game featuring characters from the Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners universe.
The game is a project by a new studio called WeirdCo, in collaboration with CD Projekt RED, the developer behind Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher franchise.
While the TCG market has become increasingly saturated, Cyberpunk TCG stands out with its striking artwork, simple card design (as seen in the trailer), and its focus as a physical-only card game.
Although full gameplay details have yet to be released, some core mechanics have been revealed. Set in the streets of Night City, the game pits two players against each other, each assuming the role of a gang leader vying to earn the most Street Cred. Players build decks of 40–50 cards, upgrade gear, deploy units, and utilise other strategies, with additional mechanics still to be unveiled.
No official release date has been confirmed, as the project is still in the crowdfunding stage. However, those eager to start collecting Cyberpunk cards can expect them to arrive in late 2026 or later, as confirmed by CD Projekt.
