Tundra have the chance to claim their fourth title of the 2025-2026 season in front of their home crowd at Birmingham.
Only three Dota 2 teams remain standing in ESL One Birmingham 2026 as the penultimate day of the tournament concluded on Sunday (29 March). Western European juggernauts
Tundra Esports are the first team to advance to the grand finals after they swept the upper bracket finals against Eastern Europe's
Team Yandex, who have been knocked down to the lower bracket.
China's
Xtreme Gaming completed the Top 3 at Birmingham after emerging victorious in the lower bracket semifinals against
PARIVISION, who had knocked out
Aurora Gaming in the lower bracket quarterfinals to start the day.
Here's how all the action in Day 7 of ESL One Birmingham 2026 went down:
PARIVISION knock out hapless Aurora
The day kicked off with a showdown between two teams that have had widely different journeys in Birmingham. Aurora looked nigh-unstoppable in the Group Stage and had the best record out of all teams, only to fall flat in the opening day of the Playoffs against Tundra and fall at risk of elimination. Meanwhile, PARIVISION struggled mightily in the Group Stage and barely qualified for the Playoffs, only to flip the switch in the second day of the Playoffs and knock out reigning The International champions
Team Falcons.
Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov and
Volodymyr “No[o]ne” Minenko both put on a masterclass as PARIVISION soundly swept Aurora out of the tournament and advanced to the lower bracket semifinals to face Xtreme at the end of the day.
PARIVISION came out swinging to start the series, grabbing the lead in game one from the get-go and never looking back until they forced the GG call from Aurora in just under 46 minutes of action. No[o]ne on Storm Spirit paced PARIVISION's 43-20 kill lead in game one with 14 kills and 24 assists on just one death while Satanic on Monkey King added 10 kills and 17 assists against three deaths.
Game two was an even more one-sided affair, as it only took PARIVISION 30 minutes to complete the 2-0 series sweep and knock Aurora out of the tournament. Satanic on Weaver and No[o]ne on Pangolier once again were the stars of the show in the closeout game, as they notched 12 kills apiece and combined for 39 assists with four deaths between the two of them.
Tundra stomp Yandex en route to fourth grand finals appearance this season
The second match of the day then saw the Top 2 teams of Group A clash for the second time in the tournament. Tundra and Yandex were evenly matched in their first encounter back in the Group Stage, which ended with a 1-1 draw, though Yandex would end up with the top seed of their group. Things looked vastly different in the Playoffs, however, as Tundra made it look easy in a 2-0 sweep to secure the first spot in the grand finals.
The series opener was a veritable statement game from Tundra, as they stomped Yandex in 44 minutes to the tune of a 34-11 kill lead. Tundra's core players all had perfect performances, with Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko on Dragon Knight leading the way with 16 kills and 11 assists,
Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov on Ember Spirit added 11 kills and 16 assists, while
Neta “33” Shapira on Largo had two kills and 24 assists.
Tundra then secured their spot in the grand finals by routing Yandex in an even bigger stomp in game two, which only took 25 minutes and saw the Western European squad finish with 25 kills while only conceding seven deaths. Bzm led the way as Pangolier, finishing with 10 kills and nine assists on just one death, while Pure on Gyrocopter had another clean performance with nine kills and seven assists.
With their victory over Yandex, Tundra will notably have the chance to claim their fourth tournament victory this season so far while having home court advantage. Not only does Tundra have Matthew “Ari” Walker, the only player of note to come out of the United Kingdom, the organisation itself is also headquartered not too far away in London.
Xtreme reverse sweep PARIVISION to round out the Top 3
The penultimate day of ESL One Birmingham 2026 closed with a showdown between the two teams that have been wreaking havoc in the lower bracket: Xtreme and PARIVISION. PARIVISION were arguably the favourites in this matchup given their momentum from their earlier victory over Aurora, and that looked to be the case after a dominant game one win for them. However, some masterful play from Wang “Ame” Chunyu and
Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang allowed Xtreme to pull off an incredible 2-1 reverse sweep and survive to the final day of the tournament.
The series started with by far the most one-sided game of the tournament, if not the entire season. PARIVISION absolutely destroyed Xtreme in 22 minutes where they racked up 22 kills and only conceded one death. Satanic on Monkey King topped the kill board with nine kills and three assists while No[o]ne on Pangolier added five kills and 11 assists.
Xtreme looked like they were dead in the water for most of game two, as PARIVISION were in a dominant position as early as the laning stage and seemingly only one victorious teamfight away from advancing.
However, Xtreme put on a masterful defense of their high ground thanks in large part to NothingToSay's Sand King repeatedly devastating PARIVISION's backlines. From there, Ame's Weaver spearheaded the comeback to force the GG call after 47 minutes and send the series to a deciding game three. Despite his team being on the backfoot for most of game two, Ame finished with a perfect eight-kill, nine-assist statline while NothingToSay added seven kills and 12 assists on four deaths.
With their momentum ground to a halt by their loss in game two, PARIVISION could do little to stop a surging Xtreme squad from methodically picking them apart in the decider and completing the 2-1 reverse sweep in just under 34 minutes of action. NothingToSay was once again a menace on Sand King in the closeout game, finishing with 11 kills and 14 assists on two deaths. Ame also had another perfect showing, this time on Morphling, with five kills and 12 assists.
