DreamHack have released details regarding the group draws for the upcoming LAN finals of Atlanta 2017.
DreamHack Atlanta 2017 is just three days away from commencing, in light of the aforementioned the organisers have released details regarding the group draws for the LAN finals of the event. Taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, United States the tournament will feature a $100,000 prize pool, much like previous DreamHack Open events. Eight teams, six of which received direct invites, whilst two qualified via the North American and European qualifier, will clash in a bid to determine the finest, in addition to seize the lion's share of the prize pool.

In line with previous DreamHack Open tournaments we will see the GSL format for the group stage, followed by single-elimination, best-of-three play-offs. For those unfamiliar, GSL means initial best-of-one, double-elimination matches, whereby the two top teams from each group secure a placement in the semi-finals, whilst those who failed to qualify will face off in single-elimination, best-of-three match-ups in a bid to land the final two spots available.
