Athletico sign new roster

Athletico's time without a male CS: GO team lasted just three weeks as the organization revealed their new roster.

Three weeks ago, Athletico lost their former roster to Tainted Minds but their absence hasn't lasted long; the organization has announced they have signed a new roster. Looking to the new Athletico roster, Iain "SnypeR" Turner comes forward as the most renowned player. The 30-years old player will play together with younger and inexperienced players, making Athletico a mixture of experience and raw talent.

Athletico thanked AVANT GARDE and EXILE5 for their "cooperative efforts" during the transfer talks of their players and added that their professionalism was "duly appreciated". Regarding the formation of the new roster, Athletico Esports Program Director Peter Souvlis released a statement.

The team needs no introduction. The calibre of experience and youth speak for themselves. I know they will grasp this opportunity and win titles. Our fans are in for something special – 2017 is going to be an incredible year for us as we move into a new chapter of Athletico Esports.”
