Renegades announce the signing of a new coach, as Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunovi? takes Nicholas "Peekay" Wise's place.
After having coached Renegades for most of 2016, Nicholas "Peekay" Wise is released from his duties in the Australian team, as former mousesports coach Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunovi? replaces him in the coaching position. Under Wise's guidance Renegades had a decent series of events, including their second place finishes in both Asian minors of the year, as well as an impressive run at DreamHack Winter 2016 where they finished second, ahead of teams such as GODSENT, Cloud9, OpTic and dignitas.
After an extensive professional career, Trifunovi? had taken the role of coach at mousesports in June 2016 and guided the Germany-based team for three months. The most notable achievement for mousesports during that period was their semi-final finish at ELEAGUE Season 1.
The Serbian coach has little time to prepare with his new team, as Renegades will play in the North American qualifier for DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017 in two weeks. Trifunovi? will coach:

Aaron "AZR" Ward
Justin "jks" Savage
Karlo "USTILO" Pivac
