It is grand final time and Astralis started with removing de_cobblestone and de_inferno, picking de_dust2. Natus Vincere on their end removed both de_cache and de_overpass, picking de_train which was the first map to be played in this Best-of-Three. Astralis' choice de_inferno was to be played as second map with de_mirage as decider, if needed.
After winning the knife round, Astralis chose to start as defender. René "cajunb" Borg was the first to find a frag, down to a two on two Natus Vincere managed to plant the bomb and successfully defended it. Despite doing much damage with their pistols, Na'Vi went into the first gun round with a 03:00 lead. Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovacs managed to win the AWP duel and picked off two kills in the end as cajunb was the only survivor. Despite Yegor "flamie" Vasiliev's reactions being too high, Astralis managed to secure their first round after seized picked off an ace in the Eco round. Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth doing magic work on B side but the scoreboard showing a Na'Vi 07:02 lead in the 11th round. Trading rounds back and forth for a while with notable performances by Nicolai "device" Reedtz and seized, the first half ended in favor of the CIS team with 09:06. After losing the pistol and the following round, Astralis decided to go for the force buy, failed to achieve victory in the round. Thanks to cajunb, Astralis' hope were kept alive after zeus nearly ruined the day in a four on two situation in favor of the Danes. Barely winning the rounds, Natus Vincere broke Astralis' neck when the Danes tried to rush A side. Na'Vi clinched a 16:09 victory after the neckbreaker as Astralis was forced to mainly play pistols.
Starting as attackers, Astralis managed to plant the bomb on A side after they failed to rush B side, where flamie landed two headshots. Down to a two on one, flamie runs out of amunition and jumps in for the knife kill. The bomb was already ticking too fast for the defuse without a defuse kit. Natus Vincere secured their first round seven rounds into the map, which could have happened anytime as all rounds were pretty close until then. Overcommitting in the eleventh round after getting the crucial frag, even more rounds dwindled away from the Ukrainian team. Afterall, Na'Vi secured two additional rounds for that 03:12 first half. Starting off the second half with a pistol win, Na'Vi barely won the second round followed by a flawless third one. Thanks to cajunb Astralis managed to secure the first gun round, giving away the second one. The Danes managed to stop Na'Vi's run in the 25th round after losing four rounds in a row but failed to retake A side in the following crucial round. Positioning himself behind Natus Vincere, cajunb secured match point for the Danes right after. Being in an awkward position when cajunb lost the duell against Edward, device made sure would see yet another map between those two.
The grand finals were to be decided on de_mirage, which turned out to be the a one-sided map as Na`Vi were pretty much in control from the beginning. After securing eight rounds in a row, a tactical pause was called by the Danes. It still took a while to adjust their defense, as Natus Vincere hold onto their momentum, only giving away four rounds. After the lost pistol round Finn "karrigan" Andersen kept the hope alive with a clutch one on two before Na'Vi closed out the series, taking home 40.000 US-Dollars.
