The playoffs for this tournament have seen some beautiful matches, with Cloud9 finally making a comeback with their fifth member, Stewie2k. Though their match was cut short due to a default win given to Cloud9 because of some issues regading their opponent, it was clearly showing that Stewie2k has the edge to become what Cloud9 wants him to be.

Surprisingly, Winterfox managed to pick up the first map, which was probably at least in part due to Skadoodle being unable to attend and being replaced by Swag. The following two maps then quite convincingly went in C9's favor as they are now through to the finals event and have made a good start to the year.

Next to either C9, Counter Logic Gaming have secured themselves the spot in the offline finals. The CIS and European groups are still being played, so it remains uncertain which teams will attend the finals alongside the Americans. Four EU and another two CIS teams will fill the void there, so be sure to watch the group stages and playoffs being played out!

Here you can find all information regarding the matches pending as well as all the teams that can and already have qualified themselves to walk on towards Vilnus, Lithuania, where this Global eSports Cup will come to a close.
