After a very long day at the ESL ESEA Pro League 2 Finals it finally came to a conclusion. Fnatic will face Natus Vincere in the grand finals.??

The day kicked off with the match between Fnatic and Team Liquid in group A, where the both teams were trying to earn a second spot that would secure a ticket to the playoffs. The winner of this match would then meet ex-Team Solomid in the semi finals of this tournament. The match started on de_cache where, surprisingly, Team Liquid were the ones taking the lead of 10-5 on the T side of the map. However, Fnatic had enough power to pull it off for 16-14 and prevented a major upset. The second map saw pure domination by the Swedes, who took a very convincing 16-8 win.
The second match of the day was the Group B match, that would decide who will move to the playoffs and meet Team EnVyUs in the semi-finals. It was a rematch of the opening match of this group played between Luminosity Gaming and Natus Vincere. The series was opened on de_cobblestone, which is known as one of the strongest maps of the Ukranian team, and they definitely proved their role as favourites, by winning it 16-11. Much like on de_cobblestone, Natus Vincere is known as a very good team on de_train as well, but Luminosity Gaming showed that their recent results weren't just a random peak, so they striked back very hard for a 1-1 map score, by winning this map 16-12. In the decider we saw a one sided battle where Natus Vincere simply demolished the Brazilian team for 16-6 and a spot in the semi finals.
The playoffs were opened by the first semi finals match between ex-Team Solomid and Fnatic. Last night it was looking like the second placed teams in the group stage were the superior ones in comparison to the first placed teams. Fnatic managed to secure a win, in a very close game on de_inferno, 16-12 to take a 1-0 lead in this series. The second map was as close as the first one, if not even more thrilling to watch, as the final score was 16-14 for Fnatic, and ex-TeamSolomid got eliminated with a 2-0 score.
The second semi finals saw the re-match of DreamHack Cluj-Napoca grand finals, just with another outcome. This time, the Ukranian team was the one reigning supreme with an easy 2-0 win. Of course, no win against Team EnVyUs can be called an easy win, but Natus Vincere sure made it look that way. Winning the first map de_dust2 16-9, and finishing this match on a spectacular way on de_cobblestone with 22-18.
