CEVO-P Season 8 placement ends

The CEVO-P placement tournament for CEVO Season 8 Professional division has finished. eLevate and Method qualify for the North American division, and Kinguin and E-frag.net for the European division.

CEVO-P placement, which lasted from late July to mid August, has concluded, and eLevate, Method, Kinguin, and E-frag.net have emerged. Those teams, along with being promoted to CEVO-P, will also now fight for their spot for CEVO LAN from November 6-8 and, more importantly, their part of CEVO's boasted $150,000 prize pool.

Starting with North America, eLevate were the first team to qualify, followed by Method, who also qualified for PGL Season 1. On the European side, Kinguin qualified after defeating E-frag.net 2-1 in a BO3. E-frag.net, after their defeat, managed to come back and defeat Ukrainian team Flipsid3 Tactics in a clean 2-0 (16-8 cache, 16-9 cbble). With their success, E-frag.net became the second European team and last team overall to qualify for season 8 of CEVO-P.
