Team EnVyUs is the last standing team as they took out Team Solomid with 3-0 in the last match of the tournament.
IEM Gamescom was played in a very unorthodox format which brought a lot of entertainment to the viewers. The all six teams were granted six lives where each loss was taking one of them away. In the end, it all fell down to the duel between the two biggest favourites of this tournament, Team EnVyUs and Team Solomid.
Team Solomid was arguably the top contender for the title at Gamescom. However, even with the roster changes which occurred not so long ago for the French team, nV managed to raise up and take down a very strong Danish squad.
The last day of the tournament brought us the same thing we could witness throughout the whole event. nV was just fearless and full of the confidence. In the end, it turned out that Mousesports was the only team capable of taking one map away from the French team, as nV finished this tournament with only one dropped map.
The last match of the tournament saw TSM playing against nV in a match where the map pick favoured French side a lot. Even the French team's captain, Happy, said in the winners interview that he feels how his team was really lucky when it comes to the map pick so the 3-0 score in this match doesn't maybe reflects the real odds between them and TSM.
