The Acer Predator Masters concluded today with HellRaisers defeating mousesports 4-3 in the best-of-seven grandfinals match.
HellRaisers ended an impressive run at TakeTV's Acer Predator Masters this weekend by taking out their German rivals mousesports in their BO7 match. While Hellraisers struggled early on in the tournament, mousesports team had an easy time making it to the grandfinals, with mousesports only dropping a single map through the entire bracket, in their match against E-frag.net. The other high profile team at the event, Team SoloMid, had an uncharacteristically quick exit from the event after getting taking out in their opening match by E-frag.net, and then getting 2-0'ed by Hellraisers in the lower bracket.
The series looked like it was going in mouz's favor early on when they took a 3-1 lead, but HellRaisers managed to recover and grind out three maps in a row, culminating on de_mirage where they finshed their fourth map 16:10 after an impressive CT half. Hellraisers will take home $20,000 for their first place finish, while mousesports be awarded $10,000 as the runnerups.
