Only eight teams have left the group stage of the Global Offensive Champions League where ten teams battled it out in a round robin format. PENTA and mousesports, who anchored the bottom of the ladder with zero wins and five draws a piece, opted to drop out of the tournament to focus their efforts elsewhere.

Although it was initially decided that only the top six teams in the group stage would be allowed into the playoffs, the organization has decided to rescind that descion and increase the total to the current eight.

The first and second placed teams will have advantage starting at round two of playoffs, while the other four teams will kick off at round one. The playoffs will be set to feature a double-elimination bracket played in the best-of-three series, with grand finals being best-of-five. Team coming from the upper bracket will have a map advantage in the grand finals.
