Team x6tence wins Insomnia 54

Team x6tnece managed to take down FM eSports in the finals 3-0 to win Insomnia 54's title.

Over the last weekend we witnessed one of the largest UK esports events being held, Insomnia 54. Insomnia was once again a host of a CS:GO tournament among the other games as well. This time we could see a Spanish fest as team x6tence convincingly ran past their opponents in the double elimination bracket to claim the first prize of 5,000 GBP.

During the tournament we saw UK teams clashing up with Spanish and Portuguese representatives. x6tence showed a great performance quilifying for the finals without dropping a single map, while k1ck failed at the last step. They were beaten by FM eSports in the lower bracket finals 2-0 and it was a UK-Spanish finals between x6tence and FM eSports.

In the grand finals x6tence had a 1-0 advantage due to coming from the upper bracket and the format was set to best-of-five. The first map was de_inferno, where FM eSports had a very good CT half winning it 12-3. However, the Spanish squad made even impressive run during the second half to make it 16-14 in their favor and 2-0 in this series. The third and final map of this duel was played on de_cache where we saw a one sided game, where x6tence won the CT side by 14-1 which gave them enough space to work with and close this match 16-3.
