Team EnVyUS have defeated NiP 2-0 to secure a spot in the grand finals of SLTV StarSeries XII.

Team EnVyUs opened strong in their first half on the CT side of Cache, narrowly taking the pistol from NiP, and then proceeding to run away with the next three rounds. NiP managed to answer with two rounds, but strong map presence from the french team allowed them to tally up nine. The twelth round was a turning point for NiP, allowing them to gain enough momentum to eek out three more rounds and end the half 5:10. EnVy's domination continued in the second half with the team handily taking the pistol and ensuing eco rounds from NiP. The swedes wiggled their way back into the map on the first gun round, and while EnVy promptly shut them down with a strong A take afterwards, an extremely well-played eco stabilized NiP for the next two rounds. EnVy finally manged to clean it up finally after some ill-advised agression from the NiP side, taking the map 16:9.
de_inferno was the second map, and NiP's bad luck continued as they once again dropped the pistol to the French side. EnVy took advantage of the situation, taking full advantage of the shotgun and SMG money bonus to build up a massive economy on their CT side; by the third round, shox had already accrued an impressive $12,000 bank. The map quickly began to spiral out of control at this point for NiP, losing six rounds in a row with only a single plant. On the seventh, NiP finally got their first round with the help of allu's AWP, but once again EnVy came back with a vengeance and shut down their economy in the subsequent round, allowing them to power their way to an impressive 14:1 half. Any hopes for a comeback were promptly dashed for NiP in the second half as EnVy quickly took the second pistol and finished them off 16:1, winning them the series.
