Josh "jdm64" Marzano announces his retirement from competitive CS:GO for the second time. SKDC loses a man.
When life progresses, new doors open as old doors close, and sometimes sacrifices are to be made for what you pursue. For jdm64, his sacrifice was his time spent in professional Counter-Strike. Josh "jdm64" Marzano will not be participating in any more matches effective immediately. This is devastating news as jdm64 was known to be one of the best AWPers within the csgo community.
I Believe I'm done with comp CS as my new JOB has difficult hours to work around. Getting home every night at 730pst won't cut it. Been Fun!

As you read above, life simply got in the way of his CS:GO career. Arriving at home hours past dinner time will mess with the times he has set up to practice and refuses to sweat himself for a chance to play another pro game. The second thing we notice is that jdm himself hopes for a second return into the scene.
This is not the first time jdm64 has claimed to retire from the scene, only to return. The first retirement was announced July 14, 2014, after participating in All-Stars North America. Not much was said besides "it's been a good run!" which surprised and saddened many on Twitter and Reddit. Although, if you were to look at comments made by Josh on his old posts and his new ones, there are a lot of similarity in reasoning and speech. This may or may not lead to jdm making a glorious return.
jdm64 was first recognized in the Counter-Strike community with his recruitment into Denial on the March of 2013, lasting only till the beginning of April. After receiving positive reviews, Josh was invited to play at the All-Stars North America which also lasted only for a month long, June 27 through July 27. Then jdm went into retirement for a couple of weeks before solving personal issues and being recruited into Netcode. A relationship that last for half a year before moving onto SapphireKelownaDotCom, or SKDC for short, on February 9, 2015.
