King of Majors to feature $15,000 prize pool

E-frag.net has announced that its showcase tournament, which runs from February 16-17, will have a total of $15,000 up for grabs.

The King of Majors will place CS:GO's last four major winners together into a double-elimination, best-of-three bracket. The invited teams are: EnVyUs, Fnatic, NiP, and Virtus.Pro. The entire competition will be played online.

Sponsored by and streamed on hitbox.tv, these premier teams will battle it out over a $15,000 purse, with the winner taking home $12,000, a whopping 80% of the prize pool. The 2nd place finisher will receive the remaining $3,000 for their efforts.

E-frag.net has also expressed its intention to host tournaments in the future with a similar theme of major tournament winners in attendance.
