The group stage of the ESL Pro League has come to an end with Virtus.pro and Team Dignitas securing their places in the LAN finals. They join six previously qualified teams, Team Solomid, Natus Vincere, 3DMAX, CPH Wolves, Team EnVyUs and Titan to complete the list of eight teams who will be playing at the LAN finals of the ESL Pro League.
The group stage saw teams distributed into two double-elimination brackets. The top four of each moved onto the LAN finals. Team Solomid and Natus Vincere topped group A, while 3DMAX and CPH Wolves won consolation matches to grab their tickets for the LAN finals. group B saw Team EnVyUs and Titan reigning at the top, while Virtus.pro and Team Dignitas secured their spots through the lower bracket.
The more details on LAN finals are yet to be announced, but we already know that the eight teams will be split into two groups where the top two of those new groups will move onto the new bracket. The final bracket will feature only the top four teams who will battle out for the champion throne of the ESL Pro League. The total prize pool is set at $50,000 but the organizers have yet to reveal how the money will be split.
