A new CS:GO event will begin on Sunday, 15th February 2015, the FACEiT Oceania invitational. The event will feature a $5,000 prize pool and involve the best teams the Australia/Oceania region has to offer.
This event comes after just last month FACEIT expanded their matchmaking system by launching 128-tick servers in Sydney and Melbourne. The teams invited to the FACEIT Oceania Invitational are the following:
- Vox Eminor
- Team Immunity
- The Chiefs
- Aftershock
- Avant Garde
The above teams have been invited to the event, but there is an additional space for a final team, which will qualify this Sunday(8 February), at 16:00 AEDT (06:00 CET. Teams looking to qualify can sign-up here
The FACEiT Oceania invitational will kick off Sunday, 15th February 2015 and be shown live on air at this link, with known hosts Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and James "JZFB" Bardolph.
