iBUYPOWER looking for new CS:GO team to sponsor after match fixing scandal

North American gaming PC manufacturer and eSports sponsor iBUYPOWER have announced that they are searching for a new team.

After dropping their last CS:GO team because of a highly controversial match fixing scandal that banned three of their players from all Valve sponsored events, the Team iBUYPOWER organization are now searching for a new team to sponsor.

The organization left the following statement on their website:

IBP is committed to supporting gaming at the highest levels, and expects each member of our staff and teams to perform to the best of their ability and conduct themselves with integrity at all times. Recently, IBP learned that certain members of the IBP CS:GO team failed to meet that expectation. The actions of these individuals come as a shock to us, and are not in keeping with the philosophy of the iBUYPOWER brand. We have severed our relationships with these individuals, and look forward to building a new team to compete on the game’s biggest stages.

Teams that wish to apply for a sponsorship can contact the organization via their website here
