The last match of the group stage in MLG X Games were played between the Team Dignitas and Cloud9. It was a direct clash for the last spot of the semi finals. Cloud9 was defending the North American pride by being the only surviving NA team and Team Dignitas was looking for the first playoffs at the LAN event with their new line-up.

The Danish team had to make a pick between de_cache and de_dust2 and they choose the second one. Cloud9 decided to start on CT side and the game kicked off with Dignitas winning the pistol round and six more rounds which followed for the 7-0 score. Cloud9 was looking completely off point losing all the clutches and were repeatedly being forced into eco rounds. In the end they managed to clutch 2 rounds to finish the first half with 2-13, which in the end was the final number of the rounds which they won in this match, 16-2.

In the winner's interview dupreeh pointed out that they will be put up against probably the best three teams in the world at the moment, so they will just try to play their own game and that success should follow.
