Team Liquid has accepted the last minute invitation to replace the ex iBUYPOWER at the MLG X Games.

Team Liquid have confirmed that they accepted the last minute invitation to replace the ex iBUYPOWER team at the MLG X Games which are starting in a less than 2 days. They will be placed in a group B together with Team LDLC, Fnatic and Counter Logic Gaming.

Everything started only a few hours ago when Adam Apicella tweeted out that ex iBUYPOWER team have withdrawn from the MLG X Games and that the organizers were already on the hunt for their replacement. The reason for the withdrawal is still unknown, but the confirmation for it came by Hiko who has also followed it with another statement on his facebook channel.
MLG X Games in Aspen are scheduled to start on January 23rd, where the Team Liquid will have to meet Fnatic as their first opponent in Group B. This match will start at 19.00 CET on January 23rd.
