Copenhagen Wolves part ways with CS:GO team

Copenhagen Wolves have announced that they have parted ways with their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team.

The news comes following the removal of Lukas "Glaive" Rossander from their roster earlier last month after the Danish player threatened to boycott the GDK Finals because his girlfriend was not allowed to be in the venue.

Now, the Copenhagen Wolves eSports organization have announced that they will be removing the rest of the players under their banner because they "could not come to an agreement" regarding their contracts.

Frederik Byskov, eSport manager of Copenhagen Wolves had the following to say about the situation:

We made Pimp and co. an offer and after a few negotiating meetings it was clear Copenhagen Wolves’ new strategy didn’t align with the expectations of the team. We part ways without any bad feelings and wish the team the best of luck in their future.

However the Counter-Strike adventure continues in Copenhagen Wolves with a new team soon to be announced. Who, when and where will be revealed on a later date.

CopenHagen Wolves had the following roster:

Denmark Jacob "Pimp" Winneche
Denmark Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye
Denmark Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen
Denmark Philip "Aizy" Aistrup
Denmark Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen (stand-in)
