With X Games Aspen quickly approaching, MLG has now announced the first set of teams featuring the likes of Fnatic, NiP and Cloud9.
From January 23rd to 25th Major League Gaming, in cooperation with ESPN, will hold their first major tournament for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
The first teams to book their tickets to Colorado are the Europeans of Fnatic and Ninjas in Pyjamas, completed by the North-American side of Cloud9. As teams already had to name their lineups it's likely that Mikail "Maikelele" Bill will extend his trial period to at least until the end of January.

This marks the first big CS:GO tournament in North America and will surely hold some surprises for the viewers. However, unlike other North American tournaments that are normally streamed on Twitch, the MLG X Games will be broadcasted for free on MLG's own proprietary streaming platform, MLG.tv with additional highlights from mainstream national television networks ESPN and ABC.
MLG additionally announced that they will hold online-qualifiers in the upcoming weeks.
