MODDII leaves fnatic, pronax joins

Fnatic has officially announced the departure of Andreas "MODDII" Fridh. He will be replaced with former n!faculty ingame-leader, Markus "pronax" Wallsten.

Speculations have travelled across the internet regarding the departure of Andreas 'MODDII' Fridh, after he posted on his facebook page "Bye Bye !". The speculations proved to be correct as today the Australian based organization announced on the official website that Fridh will be replaced with Markus "pronax" Wallsten. Wallsten will be taking up the role as ingame-leader in the team, while MODDII's future is still unclear.

Statement Andreas "MODDII" Fridh:

"Hello everybody. Its time for me to say goodbye once more to the fnatic family, everything isn't always easy but sometimes you need to think what is best for all parts. I would like to thank all the fnatic members for always being there and support everything I've done and always being so professional. Big thanks to Patrik and Anne for just being really awesome. Take care all of you guys out there and I wish the new Fnatic team all the luck in the future hope we will meet on the battlefield!"

Markus “pronax” Wallsten, Fnatic CS:GO in-game leader:

"I am really happy about this opportunity to play for Fnatic with four amazing players. I have heard great things about Fnatic as an organization, so I am very excited that I will get to experience it myself. It was a really hard decision for me at first to leave my friends behind in n!faculty, especially since the people in n!faculty took very good care of our team, and they have helped me a lot these past months, and I have nothing but respect for them. Lastly I would like to thank the Fnatic team and cArn for giving me this opportunity, and I am looking forward to the challenge!"

The first test for Fnatic's new addition will be at MSI Beat It Finals in China, which will take place from November 23rd to 24th.
