Due to the amount of registrations we have received already and the request from teams intending to participate, the Awesome Cup qualifiers will now each hold up to 128 teams as opposed to 32. Find out the specific details below.
The amounts of sign-ups have been amazing so far and people have been worried about not being able to play due to the high demand. It seemed verified, looking at the amount of reserves which was more than the bracket would even allow. To accomodate this we have decided to raise the maximum to 128 teams. That means we can now allow four times as many teams!
All teams who previously were waiting in the reserve list are now promoted to the main registered teams since the new maximum of 128 has not been filled up yet. That means now after the increase, there are still spots to grab. Everyone playing in the bracket will still get a Teddy Ayla skin (maximum one per player).
And remember the importance of checking in, regardless if you are a main registered team or a reserve. A team that is not checked in does not get to play, even if you were the first team to sign up. If your team is not checked in, the spot will go to a reserve instead (provided the reserve is checked in).
The time of the qualifier start remain the same (17 CET / 11am EST) but to accomodate for the increased length of the bracket, the first three rounds will be best-of-1, after that matches will be best-of-3.

Round of 64 - best of 1
Round of 32 - best of 1
Round of 16 - best of 3
Round of 8 - best of 3
Round of 4 - best of 3 (winners qualify)
In the best of one rounds, all games will be played on the map Aiguillon.
