The beginning of FACEIT League 2015 is just around the corner and the schedule has been set, with the North American Division opening the season.

FACEIT announced their plans for the 2015 calender year back in January, with an increased prize pool by 109% compared to the previous season, as well as a newly introduced Oceanic Division.
FACEIT League 2015 will feature three stages, with the first stage kicking off this Wednesday. These teams will have a chance to grab a place at the final LAN stage during the first two LAN stages over the year.
There will be a total of three divisions: European, North American and Oceanic. The European division will have the most teams, eight, while the othwe two divisions will settle with six teams participating in each. The progression system will work in the following way: the top five teams from the European division, top two from the North American, and the first placed team from Oceanic division will advance further. Those eight teams will proceed to the LAN stage where they will battle to win the league at the Final LAN stage at the end of this year.
The European division will begin with a match between Virtus.pro and Team EnVyUs on the most disputable map in the current pool, de_cobblestone. The map got revamped in the most recent patch and so it will be interesting to see how those changes will affect the current meta game. This match will start on February 18th at 19.00 CET.
The North American division will open this season of FACEIT League with a match between Cloud9, who just managed to qualify for ESL One Katowice through the offline qualifier, and Mythic. The match is scheduled to start on February 18th at 04.00 CET/21.00 CDT/22.00 EST.
The Oceanic division will make its debut in this season of FACE ITLeague. It will see a total of six teams battling it out for only one spot in the LAN stage. Avant Garde and TRIDENT will play in the premier of this Division. The match will commence on February 22nd at 10.00 CET/20.00 AEDT/17.00 WADT.
